Common questions about how we charge

Do you charge by the hour or fixed price? +
Fixed price, always. We provide a written quote before starting and we stick to it. If a project takes longer than we expected, that's our problem — not yours. We've never issued an invoice higher than the agreed quote.
What payment methods do you accept? +
We accept PayPal, bank transfer (SWIFT/IBAN for international clients), and Wise. For smaller projects under $300, we typically ask for full payment upfront. For larger projects, we split into 50% upfront and 50% on completion.
What if the project turns out to be more complex than you quoted? +
We honour the quoted price regardless. If we discover something unexpected during the project (say, a module is more complex to port than it appeared), we'll flag it and discuss options — but we don't bill you extra without your explicit agreement. If we genuinely can't complete something as scoped, we'll refund the relevant portion.
Are the prices listed in USD? +
Yes, all prices are in USD. We work with clients in the US, UK, Australia, Canada, and Europe. For UK and European clients, we can invoice in GBP or EUR at the current exchange rate.
Do you offer refunds if I'm not satisfied? +
We won't consider a project complete until you've tested and approved it on staging. If work doesn't meet the agreed specification, we fix it — not charge again. We've been doing this since 2013 and have never had a client request a refund after a completed project.
Why are your prices lower than some Western agencies? +
We're based in Chennai, India — our costs are lower than an agency in London or New York. But our Zen Cart expertise is deeper than most. We've been exclusively focused on this platform for 11 years. The combination of specialised expertise and competitive pricing is exactly why clients choose us over local agencies.
